Nigerian music star, Dapo Oyebabanjo, purpularly known as D’banj, has gifted his lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, three brand new Sienna space buses to support his 2027 House of Representatives ambition for Oriade-Obokun Federal Constituency.
The Koko Master donated the vehicles to his lawyer in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, on Thursday.
Olajengbesi made this known in a Facebook page on Friday.
Narrating the events that culminated into the donation, Olajengbesi said, “About two weeks ago, my great brother, the Koko Master himself D’banj Kokomaster, called me and asked me to help him get the contact of the person who does my campaign branding, that he needed to brand a vehicle for his CREAM project designed for young creatives. So, I simply shared the contact with him.
Olajengbesi said he initially thought D’banj was requesting his campaign branding contact for the singer’s CREAM project, but was surprised when three fully branded buses were delivered.
“However, yesterday, I received a surprise, three fully branded Sienna space buses from D’banj in Osogbo.
“Immediately called him. His response was simple, “It is my token of my support”.
“I do not take this for granted. This is love.This is huge support. Thank you for standing with me and for believing in this journey.
“In recent weeks, I have received tremendous support from people from different walks of life, some publicly, many quietly.Every single act of support reinforces something in my heart, this is a responsibility”
Olajengbesi previously served as spokesperson for the Governor Ademola Adeleke’s 2026 re-election campaign and had also received public endorsement from Afrobeats star Davido.
Olajengbesi is seeking to represent the people of Oriade-Obokun Federal Constituency seat in the green chamber.
