The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum at the weekend said its members are not working for the ticket of the ex-Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and the ex-Anambra State Governor Mr. Peter Obi for the 2027 presidential election.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Forum’s Director General Emmanuel Agbo, Saturday the PDP Governors Forum, led by Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed, declared that party’s governor will support any aspirant, who wins the party ticket.
It was previously reported that the five PDP Governors are backing the 2027 ticket of El-Rufai and the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate Obi, within the All Progressives Congress.
In response, the forum condemned the report, labelling it as unpleasant and provocative publication.
