Ahead of the 2027 general elections, a youth leader in Nasarawa State, Comrade Lawal Keffi, has urged other ethnic groups to rally round the indigenous Hausa-Fulani commuinity to produce the successor to Governor Abdullahi Sule.
In a Facebook post on Friday August 09, noted that since inception of democracy in 1999, the indigenous Afo, Alago and Gwandara ethnic groups had enjoyed their support to win gubernatorial elections and run the affairs of the state.
He also revealed that the indigenous Hausa-Fulani community played a key role to election and re-election of Governor Abdullahi Sule, an industrious son of Kanuri ethnic group.
“Now a Kanuri man is our Governor, we are loyal and humble to his administration”, Mr Lawal assured.
The youth leader declared 2027 as the ideal time for the community to produce Governor for the state.
