The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has appointed Hon. Barr. Chinedu Leonard Adili – Ubah as the Nnewi North Local Government Area Campaign Coordinator ahead of 2027 General Elections.
His appointment on Tuesday, November 3 by the Anambra State Campaign Council for the 2027 Peter Obi/Kwankwaso Presidential Campaign gives him the responsibility of coordinating grassroots political engagement and ensuring the implementation of campaign activities across the local government.
More so, Adili-Ubah’s appointment is particularly significant for the Nnewi North campaign structure, and has unveiled the importance of local government coordination in connecting the state campaign leadership with ward-level and grassroots operations.
Addressing Newsmen shortly after the appointment, the newly appointed Nnewi North Campaign Coordinator said the primary purpose of their appointments is to deliver all the party candidates, ranging from the Presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, Senatorial Candidates, Federal House and State candidates.
He urged the Igbos, home and abroad to join hands in making Peter Obi, who is an Igboman, the next president of Nigeria.
“I so much believe in the strength of the Obidient Movement and Kwankwasiyya, let’s join our hands together to make it a reality” he pleaded.
He commended the State Campaign Coordinator, Hon. Ifeanyi Ibezi, his deputy Chief Egwuoba Okika Innocent, the State Director of Media, Hon. Caleb Okeke-Enyobi, Hon. Nwakobu Kingsley Chijioke, Deputy Director of New Media and others for their preparedness to delivering their party candidates, charging them not to relent in ensuring NDC’s victory in 2027 general elections.
With Hon. Barr. Chinedu Leonard Ubah coordinating the Nnewi North campaign and Caleb Okeke-Enyobi serving at the state level as Director of New Media, the newly announced appointments reflect Nnewi North’s presence in two important dimensions of the emerging campaign structure: grassroots coordination and strategic communication.
The focus now shifts to building an effective campaign organisation capable of connecting the party’s state leadership with communities, stakeholders and the electorate.
