The Executive Governor of Benue State,Rev.Fr.Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, yesterday (18/6/2024) begins a thank you tour to the people of Benue for voting him massively in the 2023 general election as their governor.
While appreciating the people of Sankera Political axis, which comprises of Katsina-Ala,Ukum and Logo;the governor thank them for their support always, during and after the election.
He says,”you have always stood by me and today that gesture will be reciprocated I will be awarding the following roads:Wukari Junction-Yam Mkt-Iwarior-Y Junction; Victory Bible church road down to Juladaco quarters through rice mill to the head bridge and Sankera-Chito-Vaase roads in Ukum Local Government are to be constructed immediately”.
In a similar vein,His Excellency received members of the Peoples Democratic Party into the All Progressive Party in their thousands, promises to end insecurity in the region,work towards ending hunger and ensure a new lease of life for one and all.
In appreciation the people of Sankera Political Bloc spoke through Hon.Solomon Wombo, House of reps member representing the axis; appreciated the governor for his gestures and promise that come 2027, Sankera will still vote for him massively.
Other dignitaries that were present at the occasion includes:Sen.Barnabas Gemade,Prof.Stephen Torkuma Ugba,Gen.John Gbor and a host of many others.
