At least 22 people have been abducted by bandits who attacked Mani village, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State in the early hours of Thursday.
Although the Police authorities in Kaduna State are yet to confirmed the incident, a youth leader in the community Zacharia Musa told newsmen that the bandits stormed the community in large numbers while the residents were still asleep, and started shooting, and later moved from house to house to kidnap people.
In another incident, bandits attacked Dan Honu ll, new Millennium City also in Chikun Local Government where they abducted a nurse and her three sons.
The attack came barely two months after two journalists were kidnapped by bandits in the same community and were released after one week.
