- 2023: South-West Will Produce The Next President Of Nigeria — Ahmad Lawan
Organising Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Ahmad Lawan, has declared that the South-West zone will produce the next president on the platform of the party in 2023.
Ahmad Lawan, who is currently vying for the vacant position of National Secretary of the APC, promised to canvass for the region to produce the next president during his campaigns.

Agreed, Nigeria has been messed up since independence; but more intensely, during the 16 years PDP held power in the country, after the return of democracy in 1999.

- EFCC Is Investigating Governor Okorocha – Magu
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confirmed that it is investigating Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State. Acting chairman of the anti-graft agency, Mr Ibrahim Magu, affirmed this during an exclusive interview with Channels Television in London.
Asked if an investigation is ongoing regarding the governor, he responded, “definitely”. “Of course, we are doing a couple of checks and investigations here and there.

- We froze N5bn Imo funds because Okorocha was spending too much during elections – EFCC
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has given more details into its probe of the Imo state government. The anti-graft body says it froze N5billion funds belonging to the state government because Governor Rochas Okorocha was spending too much money during the 2019 general elections.
The EFCC further revealed that the N8billion Paris Club loan refunded to the state for the payment of salaries was mismanaged by the governor.

The Federal Government of Nigeria, has ordered the closure of four foreign missions due to lack of funds. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffery Onyeama, disclosed this today May 21st.
