Hi Nigerians. I’m Mohammed Bello and making this video on behalf of over 50,000 Nigerians (Ex-PHCN Staff).

I’m making this in respect of the fraudulent article released to the news media by BPE. Where the Bureau of Public Enterprises allegedly says that the “FG spends N409.9bn to Settle Ex-PHCN workers”

Well, even though I haven’t confirmed the authenticity of the publication, I expected that the BPE in which the news was credited is supposed to have debunked it by now., anyway that is if actually it wasn’t from them.

At the moment, I am supposedly going to assume that the news was actually from BPE.

Honestly, the article has exposed huge amounts of corruption, fraud and abuse of office by the Senior officials of the BPE and possibly in collaboration with Ex-PHCN Staff unions.

It is almost seven years now that the BPE has refused to pay Ex-PHCN Staff their outstanding emoluments.

They have denied us of our rights and for 7 years life hasn’t been going smoothly for I and my colleagues. While many of the Ex-phcn staff has died due to the lack of funds to finance their medication, the living ones have been surviving through a scrounging life.
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!

In the article released by BPE on Monday 10th August 2020. BPE only stated that “7.5 percent employer pension contribution of July 2012 to 31st October 2013 will be paid by the Federal Government (Market Operator).” But refused to mention the arrears or severance package for these stated months.

The truth is that BPE is yet to pay Ex-PHCN Staff their severance for 16 months. I can’t imagine what is taking BPE 7 longs years to pay us our outstanding benefits? WHY??
BPE must pay Ex-PHCN Staff 16 months arrears NOW!

Again BPE talked about Ten (10) percent shares due to the workers of the Power Companies… BPE said the Ex-PHCN Staff shares would be allotted after blablabla…

Let me make clear. We the Ex-PHCN Staff are no longer in service, the majority of us no longer work with the new companies, many of us have been disengaged from service since 2013. And Yet, the BPE has refused to pay us our shares WHY? This is crime against innocent labourers, this is fraud in the highest order.

How can a share that is supposed to keep us in service as legal shareholders of these new companies be withheld even when the companies have thrown us out of the system? This is original 419, this huge crime against humanity, this is covid-bpe in its fraudulent highest degree.

I SAY THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!
THIS IS INTOLERABLE!!
THIS IS INSUFFERABLE!!!
IT IS IMPERMISSIBLE!!!!
BPE MUST PAY EX-PHCN STAFF NOW!!
BPE should pay Ex-PHCN Staff her outstanding benefits now or else prepare to face the wrath of the law.

I’m calling on the President Muhammad Buhari government to grab BPE with iron-hand and make sure it pays the money he had denied us for almost 7 years now!

I am also calling on the Federal Government to please investigate this matter properly as I believe that the BPE is trying to play games with the lives of ordinary Nigerians.

I appeal to all the media to please kindly join with me on behalf of over 50,000 Ex-PHCN Staff and see that this battle is fought to a reasonable junction and that Ex-PHCN Staff outstanding emoluments are paid without any further delay.

Thank you and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
