Ebonyi State Govt Says There Is No G64 Forum

The Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Governor David Nweze Umahi, Mr Francis Nwaze has said that there is no G64 forum in the State.

In a statement made available to 9News Nigeria, Nwaze said the activities of the people parading as the G64 are not only nefarious but equally infamous and mischievous.

He described them as a bunch of unrepentant and weak crop of persons who were among the very insignificant members of the 64 development centers coordinators that were dropped for being incompetent.

According to him, “they failed to get busy with legitimate activities after staying out of any known political position for 2 years but recently commenced Facebook politics in the name of opposition.”

“These people are less than 7 in number, I counted them and can authoritatively affirm that they are just 6 hungry-looking nefarious, flagitious and unprincipled characters who think that there is success in banditry and that with Facebook, they can distract a focused, dedicated and committed Governor of Ebonyi State.”

“Let me inform the general public that there is no such forum as G64 in Ebonyi State, to prove this statement wrong, if they wish, let them queue in line and let the general public count them by head to affirm that they are above 6 in number.”

“Recall that a few months ago, they had written to EFCC, accusing Governor Umahi of fraudulent activities and withholding some of their benefits without any evidence to back their claim, the said few villainous persons were later invited and detained by the same EFCC for the same crime they accused the Governor of. This is what I described as “the hunter has become hunted.”

“A few minutes ago, I saw a video of the same crop of individuals reading out from one typed paper that was written and presented to them by their sponsors and I wondered how such people ever imagined that they could attract the attention of the Governor when they have nothing in the said communique. In truth, the communique is one of the lamest, empty communities I have ever set my eyes on in recent times.”

“Let me advise the general public to immediately discontinue following this bunch of fellows who are now notorious and causing a nuisance in the state. The communique is empty, has no information and does not require any further response as all the hollow points raised are false from the pit of hell which was fabricated to attract public attention.”

“As for the arranged kidnap of one Mr. Amos Ogbonna, the Governor, has ordered for the commencement of investigation and the Police have begun their work even as a preliminary investigation revealed that the said, Barr. Amos is in gun dealing following the discovery of a gun in his vehicle.”

“Please, be guided and don’t be deceived.”
