Providing Affordable Sanitary Pads to Young Girls across Nigeria- Govs Wives
On Thursday 1st day of July 2021, Her Excellency Barr (Mrs) Chioma Uzodinma joined her co- Nigerian Governor’s Wives’ Forum in a tactical meeting via Zoom Webinar.
The meeting featured the President of the Manufacturer’s Association of Nigeria (MAN), Engr. Mansur Ahmed, FNSE in attendance.
However other members of the Sanitary, Diapers & Napkin group of MAN, alongside other medical practitioners and physicians across the globe took turns to make their respective Presentations.
The theme was on “Providing Affordable Sanitary Pads to Young Girls across Nigeria”
In her remarks, Her Excellency Erelu (Dr.) Bisi Adeleye Fayemi expressed her desire for this project to kick-off as it is an essential part of our society, especially for our girls.
While the issue of providing affordable sanitary pads across the country is still a topic of discussion because of certain regulations, Mrs Fayemi maintained that the governor’s wives are closer to deciding on how to best provide these resources for the young girls for as little as possible to make feel safe and healthy

First Lady, Imo State Expressed happiness and promised to support this gesture to improve the young girls.
This is one among the projects of her Excellencies, the wives of Nigerian governors to improve the NIGERIAN society.
