President Muhammadu Buhari will open the presidential/VIP wing of the State House Medical Centre tomorrow. The project cost about N21 billion.
A statement by the State House Director of Information, Oladunjoye, described the project as a demonstration of the Buhari administration’s commitment to advancing healthcare management.
According to the statement, the project’s ground-breaking ceremony was done on November 1, 2021, by the president’s Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari.
The clinic sits on a 2,485 square meters suspended floor with a basement, serving as a specialized Intensive Care Centre. It will cater to the president, vice president, their families, and VIPs.
It has five consultation rooms dedicated to various specialties, including respiratory, cardiology, ophthalmology, ENT, and general consultation. It also has a specialized X-ray suite equipped with a digital X-ray machine, as well as a diagnostic suite encompassing MRI, CT scan, and endoscopy facilities.
Moreover, patients and visitors can enjoy access to a Healing Garden, designed to foster healing, relaxation, and enhancement of overall well-being.
The Conference Car Unit (CCU) workshop and the Modern Fleet Management hub will be opened next week.”
