Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere Ikeagwuonu has emerged the Director General of the People’s Democratic Party PDP campaign council for Imo State Governorship election alongside three Deputy DGs and a Secretary general.
The People’s Democratic Party PDP also approved the appointment of three Deputy Director Generals for the three senatorial zones of Imo state. They DDGs are Rt Hon Ugonna Ozuruigbo for Orlu zone., Hon Ngozi Ogbu for Okigwe zone and Hon Chidi Ibe for Owerri Zone, 9News Nigeria reports.
Hon Marshall Okafor Anyanwu will serve as the people’s Democratic Party PDP campaign council Secretary general for the 2023 Imo state gubernatorial election.
Whole reacting to the appointment, the PDP leaders interviewed by 9News Nigeria Owerri confirmed that the political stage is gradually becoming more interesting having featured the right peg in the right hole as against the features from other political parties, mostly the leading All Progressives Congress APC party in Imo state.
The DG has therefore promised PDP the best of his service to mobilize great number of Imo voters for their party Governorship candidate in the person of Senator Samuel Anyanwu.
