Neo Black Movement of Africa (NBM) had at a National Conference recently held in Owerri Imo State Nigeria, proffered possible ways and solutions to stabilizing inflation and reducing hunger and hardship in Nigeria. This is coming at a ripe moment when the people are crying of helping hands across the Federation, NBM hinted.
Owerri Zonal President in whose state the grand finale of the yearly national conference was held, Hon Madoka Anthony Ordu hinted the press of the readiness of NBM to empower the aged women, special citizens and the less privilege in the society.
Madoka said that his organization is a non governmental structure saddled with enormous responsibilities of helping the less privilege.
He added that NBM flagged up a three days national convention which was successfully held in Owerri, the capital city of Imo state Nigeria.
The event started with accreditation which proceeded with series of lectures by Erudite scholars in different professional practices.
The them, titled, “Addressing The Dual Challenges Of Poverty In Nigeria” was well presented and possible ways of clamping down on poverty was discussed.
NBM AFRICA was on Saturday 23-03-2024 staged a grand finale of Year 2024 National conference in Owerri Imo state Nigeria.
Speaking with our correspondent, Madoka Ordu listed out their preparation to the epoch making event, which Included, courtesy visits to the traditional rulers council, government agencies and reputable elites in Imo state Nigeria.
He further added that the NBM Africa is a non governmental organization whose aim is targetted at extending helping hands to the less privileged, widows, special citizens and in extension the general public.
Hon ordu stated that NMB membership cuts across the all states of the Federation and in the diaspora. He told the press that all was set to make the Grand finale a success in Owerri.
Madoka said ” the grand finale event was a successful one which went through the process of approval for convention and freedom of association.
Relevant agencies associated to non governmental activities in the state where well notified of NBM national grand finale convention that was held at the prestigious Concord Hotel Owerri Imo state Nigeria.
In addition to a previous official release signed by the National President of NBM Olorogun Ese kaor which was made available to Newsmen, Hon ordu hinted that the dual challenges of inflation and poverty will be addressed headon through relevant support from non governmental organizations, corporate agencies, individuals and government.
No doubt, the NBM OF AFRICA on Saturday 23, March 2024 rapped up their Annual National convention in Owerri in peace and harmony which witnessed a huge turnout.
