A former senator of the federal republic of Nigeria, Shehu Sani has turned the political and geograpf the Earth is actually Spherical and it rotates around the Sun, then there is no permanent West and East. Calling some parts of the World Western or Eastern is only possible if the Earth is flat.
Meanwhile, it is a known fact that the terms “West” and “East” are not solely defined by the flatness or roundness of the Earth as experts reveled.
“They are relative directions based on the planet’s rotation and its orientation to the Sun. “Western” and “Eastern” refer to cultural, geopolitical, and historical divisions, which are independent of the Earth’s shape.
So, even on a spherical Earth, we still use these terms to describe different regions, so kicking against a known fact as established is arrant madness because everything must not be politicized.
