Ahead of the 2027 presidential election, Labour Party has ruled out a possible replacement, stating enfatically that Mr Peter Obi will still be the party’s presidential candidate.
In a statement made on Sunday by the Directorate on Mobilization and Integration, Marcel Ngogbehei; the Deputy Director of Media and Communications, Ambassador Aju Elumelu; and the Deputy Director of Strategic Engagement, Sheikh Rufai Al-Saddiq,the party denied news going around as fake therefore affirming Peter Obi’s candidature.
The Directorates appeal to the wearing members of the party to always bring unity, cohesion at the party instead of fighting each other and bringing division.
According to the Directorate, peaceful coexistence is what we preach, fighting won’t take us anywhere.Members of our great party are to know that,we are the only party that is ready to save Nigeria from the shackles of greedy politicians.
Reenstating that relevant stakeholders, groups and various channels have been employed to tackle this issues.
