President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Ms. Omolola Bridget Oloworaran as the new Director -General (DG) of the National Pension Commission (PenCom).
This was disclosed in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
Ms. Oloworaran will succeed Aisha Dahir-Umar.
According to the statement, Ms. Oloworaran is a finance and banking expert with many years of experience.
The appointment is subject to the confirmation of the the Senate.
The President anticipates a goal-oriented leadership to drive efficiency and superlative performance in the National Pension Commission as the prime regulator of the Nigerian pension industry.
