The Former Governor of Edo State and current serving senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, Comrade Adams Oshiomole, reacted to a speech by the first lady of Edo State, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki, during one of the Forthcoming Governorship Elections campaigns organized to sell out his husband’s preferred candidate.
Senator Oshiomole Alleged That The First Lady of Edo State, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki, insulted the Edo 2024 Governorship Candidate under the All Progressive Congress (APC) For not having a wife and described the APC Governorship Candidate as an irresponsible man.
Senator Oshiomole reacted over the statement made by the first Lady while addressing Newsmen; Oshiomole said it’s very shameful that the First Lady, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki, can open her mouth to insult the All Progressive Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate for not having a wife and classified him as an irresponsible man.
Oshiomole said how can a woman and her husband, Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, who are above 60 years still live Childless; even if the first lady could not bear children, they could have adopted children if truly they had a love for children as they calmed.
Oshiomole stated clearly that the First Lady, Mrs Betsy Obaseki, should hide her face in shame; at her age, she’s Childless.
Our Governorship Candidate is a well-to-do man who has children, who are lawyers and doctors among children; it’s very wrong to speak Ill about such kind a man.
The First Lady and her husband Governor Godwin Obaseki should be ashamed for not bearing children together for years of marriage, I think their marriage is based on contract marriage because I can’t imagine at their age, they have no children and also refuse to adopt any ” he added”
