At the forefront is Walmart, the world’s largest private employer, with a staggering 2.3 million employees worldwide.
The retail giant is followed by Amazon, which has a workforce of 1.61 million, and Foxconn, the manufacturing powerhouse behind many global electronics brands, with 1.29 million employees.
In the automotive sector, Volkswagen employs 680,000 people, while Chinese automaker BYD follows closely with 570,000 workers.
Other corporate giants, including Accenture and Home Depot, also employ vast numbers of workers to sustain their global operations.
