Bandits have reportedly killed one of the kidnapped students of the Federal University, Dutsinma, FUDMA, Katsina State.
The lifeless body of the 100-level Computer Science student abducted last month along with others was discovered in a nearby bush on Sunday, March 24, while some of the abducted still remain in the den of the kidnappers.
Although no group has claimed responsibility of the murder.
However, security agencies have launched an investigation into the killing to unravel the mystery surrounding the death.
The 100-level Computer Science student was found lifeless in a bush on Monday, March 24, 2025.
The event surrounding the death of the student has caused panic among the students about their safety raising questions about security measures put in place by the institution.
University authorities and security forces have confirmed the tragic development urging students to remain calm with promises to enhanced security measures around the campus community in Dutsinma as well as the environ.
Also, effort are on to secure the release of the remaining captives.
