
The Christian community in the Nigeria is mourning following the death of of Reverend David Ayuba Azzaman, a respected cleric and Christian faith advocate known for his bold online engagements and spirited interfaith debates particularly on Facebook.
Reverend Azzaman, the leading pastor of the King Worship Chapel and Ministry in Kaduna, was reported to have died on Saturday May 24, after a ghastly motor accident on his way back to Kaduna from Makurdi, Benue State, and he died on the vehicle.
Details surrounding the crash are still sketchy, but a close associate, Reverend Mohammed Mohammed, confirmed the incident via Facebook post that he passed away at the scene.
“REV. Azzaman Azzaman had an accident on his way back from Makurdi. He died alone in the car. May he rest in peace with the Lord. May the Lord comfort us in the name of Jesus”.
Reverend Azzaman was widely recognized for his deep knowledge of Christian theology and unwavering defence of the faith in public discourse.
His social media presence especially on Facebook, made him notable figure among young Christians and religious scholars, as he often drew large audiences during his live sessions and written exchanges.
Born and raised in Northern Nigeria, Reverend Azzaman rose to prominence through bold forays into theological debates, often engaging his followers on matters of faith and doctrine.
