The Special Adviser to the Governor of Imo State on Adapalm, Hon. Gideon Meffor, has expressed his profound appreciation for Governor Hope Uzodinma’s remarkable contributions to the development of Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area.
During a meeting with members of the Ohaji/Egbema Practicing Journalists Association, Meffor highlighted the governor’s achievements, showcasing his love and commitment to the people of the area.

The governor’s administration paid approximately 600 million naira to Adapalm workers who were unlawfully sacked by the previous administration.
The construction of a state-of-the-art General Hospital in Umuokane is a significant step towards improving healthcare services in the area. The people’s Governor is replicating same in Egbema between Abacheke and umuorji, making Ohaji Egbema the only Local Government with double healthcare facilities, says Meffor.
The ongoing construction of the Adapalm/Etekuru Road, facilitated by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), is set to enhance connectivity and economic activity in the region.
The governor’s administration has appointed sons and daughters of Ohaji/Egbema to key positions, both at the state and national levels. ” The first Governor to appoint an Ohaji/ Egbema son a Minister” Hon Meffor said.
