Arsenal midfielder Martins Zubimendi has been named the Guinness Goal of the Month winner for his stunning volley against Nottingham Forest.
The Spanish star produce a moment of brilliance, meeting a looping cross with a first-time strike that flew past first goalkeeper, a goal that perfectly showcased technique and exposure.

It’s Zubimendi’s first individual Premier League award since joining Arsenal, and fans have hailed the goal as one of the best of the season so far.
Zubimendi is the first Arsenal player to win the accolade since Alexandre Lacazette claimed the December 2022 award for his finish at the end of a free-flowing team-goal against Southampton.
In total, three Arsenal players have won the award since its introduction in 2016/2017, while he becomes the fifth Spaniard to claim the prize.
Zubimendi topped shortlist of eight after the public’s votes were combined with those of a panel of football experts.
