The Nyesom Wike-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) caretaker committee in Oyo State was formally inaugurated on Friday, with members taking their oath of office to commence their assignment.
This is coming following the dissolution of the state executive by the party’s national leadership.
The inauguration ceremony, held in Ibadan, the state capital, marked a new phase in the party’s internal reorganisation in the state. Prof. Abdulrahman Akinoso was appointed chairman of the committee, while Dr. Biola Olanipekun serves as secretary.
