ABUJA: Governor Hope Uzodinma CON has received the Governor OF THE YEAR award by leadership newspaper in Abuja Nigeria in appreciation of his leadership style across segments of enviable positions held in the APC administration under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
Noting that Awards are not mere accolades; they are catalysts that reinforce commitment to the mandate of the people, Governor Hope Uzodinma merited the award same as other notable recipients screened and approved by the leadership newspaper Abuja.
Speaking shortly after the award, Deputy Speaker Federal House of Representatives , Rt. Hon Benjamin Kalu who was one among the distinguished personalities that received the LEGISLATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD, expressed happiness while charging co recipients to take the recognition by leadership newspaper to show more capacity and capability in the discharge of duties respectively.
“Today, I received with great honour and humility the Legislator of the Year Award 2025, presented by Leadership Newspapers, an institution whose commitment to truth and accountability has remained strong for decades.
“Over the past years of extensive work and research in Parliament, we have remained deliberate and focused on delivering impactful legislative interventions to improve the lives of our people and strengthen our nation, sponsoring over 127 bills across critical sectors.
“This recognition, however, is not mine alone. It belongs to every Nigerian who believes that legislation must serve the people and that governance must be measured not by speeches delivered, but by lives transformed. Every bill we sponsor, every motion we move, and every amendment we propose must answer to the needs of the common Nigerian.
