The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has accused some individuals of deliberately creating narratives aimed at undermining the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Speaking during a press conference and engagement with the National Assembly on Tuesday, Umahi alleged that there was a coordinated attempt by some groups to diminish the administration’s accomplishments through what he described as self-generated content.
“There is a committed effort by some people, building their own content to undermine the great work President Tinubu is doing, but we will not allow it,” the minister said.
He stressed that supporters of the President would continue to defend the administration against criticism, saying they would respond forcefully to attacks.
“We sharpen our mouth, they tackle us, we tackle them. They Obidient us, we Tinubu them, we Asiwaju them,” Umahi declared.
His remarks follows repeated political debates over the policies and performance of the Tinubu administration.
