The Nigerian Blogger, Dominic Edem aka DEE has condemned the ways some Nigerian Governors and the world leaders worship Covid-19 to the extent that they have refused to reopen worship centers till now.
DEE said it is very wrong to close churches, because such act seems as if Covid-19 is more powerful than God.
In his words:
Covid- 19 and its politics can be seen as a satanic agenda. It is a ploy by events of darkness to downplay the kingdom of God. Therefore, we need to follow it spiritually and tackle it, not only physically. By fighting physically alone will never kill the deadly disease ( Covid-19), rather it will increase it daily. Even Bible says, ‘where two or more are gathered to pray in the name of God, he will honour their prayers. If you don’t open churches for people to go inside and pray, how do you expect members to be gathering to Pray?. Ecclesiastes 4:10.
Let churches open so that members will fight in prayers/ spiritual, while doctors will fight in the physical. What doctors cannot do, prayers can do; what Prayer cannot do, more prayers can do.
How can a man marry a wife, expect baby from his wife without doing is own work as a man to make the baby? How can you expect Covid-19 to go, and you close the church, which you know that Covid-19 is more spiritual than physical,and hence the need for prayers to kill it?
