STATE GOVERNOR ;CHIEF DR.
SAMUEL ORTOM ADOROGO
[NYAMKYUME I NZOUROV].
By Comr SHOM FANEN AKOR

29th May, 2015
==========================
I want to begin by congratulating
you as the Governor of
Benue state.No doubt,you have
received many congratulatory
messages from within and outside
the state and Nation respectively.

Some worked for you to ensure you
emerge victorious while some
worked behind the scene to ensure
you loose but by the GRACE OF
GOD,today,you are the Governor-
of Benue state.

I appreciate that: you have had a
rough time struggling to win this
race,i may guess that you didn’t
plan to stress yourself as hard as
you did ‘winning’ this election.You
left no one in doubt about your
desire to become the Governor of
Benue state,you never relented in
your effort and quest to pilot the
affairs of Benue state,you starved
yourself of Good food,sound
sleeps and other good things life
can offer but you were always up
and down with your electioneering
team telling the masses on the
need to have a good leader in
Benue state.

The masses heard
your voice and today, you are our
Governor.

It is good you have
come to realise that Benue people
are not the kind of voters you get
their mandate without working very
hard to convince on the dividence
of democracy.

Dividence of
democracy is why the Benue
people voted for you
overwhelmingly.

As your name
implies ”ORTOM” meaning
workman,i pray you deliver to the
Benue people Democratic
dividence.

Your excellency sir, your victory
provides you a good opportunity to
prove to some people who do not
believe in your quest to become
the Governor of Benue state.Please
sir,prove them wrong! Personally it
was my wish you win this election
and thanks to God and everybody
who supported your vision.

Your Excellency sir, from today
the mantle of leadership of the
Benue state government will be
piloted by you;take Benue to
greater heights.”Our Benue our
dream” should come true.Let it be
a Benue where youths with or
without school fees can also afford
Education.

Our L.G.E.A teachers
should not be neglected but paid
their monthly allowances,not just
teachers but to everybody that is
on the payroll of Benue state
government, as failure to reward an
excellent job is another way of
encouraging mediocrity.Educ
ation,the bedrock of any society
and i believe Benue state should
not be an Exception starting from
the primary to the tertiaries.

Your Excellency sir,as a visionary
leader,you know what Benue state
is going through, like the issues of
insecurity and strikes.All this are
major setback to the Benue people
and our communities.Suc
cessfully,insecurity have caused
more harm than any other vices in
the state. The lost of lives and
properties have become paramount
most especially in areas
like:Makurdi,Guma,Logo,Agatu,K
wande,Gwer e.t.c. Benue state
university [B.s.u],a mother
university of our dear state have
been under ”lock and key” that is
strike for the past months,colleges
of Education and Benue
polytechnic were also on strike
previously;all this have succeeded
in taking our dear state
backward.

The right to Education
should be given to every child that
wants it.Students scholarship
scheme should not be neglected
but paid duly.

Conclusively sir, you are the
governor of Benue state ”not”
the governor of a political party
[A.P.C]. Sir,everybody should be
carried along irrespective of
Tribe,Religion,ethnicity and political
persuasions.

Elections are over and
the rancours and backbiting that’
came with it should be thrown to
the gutters,as promised by you
that;your first days in office will be
”for reconciliation.

Concentrate on
building a new,prosperous and
secured Benue.The duty lies
squarely on your palm sir,to treat
everyone like a father would treat
his child,impartial.
BUILD A BENUE
FOR ALL!

God bless you as you s”teer Benue
state.
