Wife of Ekiti State Governor, Mrs. Feyisetan Fayose has said a virtous woman can be a great politician to better the lots of the people in the society.
Mrs. Feyisetan made the statement today during 2018 National Women Conference held at Aurora Conference Centre, Osogbo, Osun State.
Elucidating on the theme of the conference “Virtuous Woman: pushing for greater development”, Mrs. Fayose described a virtuous woman as someone with integrity and who is respected and known for her good character.
Mrs. Fayose also said a good supporting woman can be regarded as a virtuous woman, urging the women invited for the 2 day programme to listen attentively to all the resource persons so as to gain more knowledge and understanding.
Present at the event were the wife of the Vice -President, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, Host Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and his counterpart from Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi who was the Special Guest of Honour.
Others at the occasion were Mrs. Sherrifat Aregbesola, wife of Lagos State Governor, Mrs. Abimbola Ambode, wife of the Governor of Ondo State, members of the National Assembly in Osun State and representative of the wife of Ogun State.
Deaconess Janet Olusola who is the wife of the deputy governor of Ekiti State was on the entourage of Mrs. Feyisetan Fayose.
