The Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, has suspended its chairman, Mamman Osuman, after the northern body’s criticism of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s policies, saying it had improvised the north.
You’ll recall the ACF, in a statement, said the interests of the north would be best represented by northerners.
However, the Yoruba Socio-Political Group, Afenifere, Igbo- Socio-Cultural body Ohaneze Ndigbo and other regional groups backed the President insisting his predecessor Muhammadu Buhari laid the marker for the hardship in the country.
Thereafter, the ACF in a shock U-turn, suspended Osuman in a letter signed by its Secretary-General, Murtala Aliyu.
