The Action Democratic Congress (ADC) leaders and leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), led by one of its factional National Chairman, His Excellency Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, and Governor Seyi Makinde are currently engaged in a high-level emergency meeting with key leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for alignment
The alignment meeting is holding few hours after ADC returned from a viral protest led by David Mark, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Rotimi Ameachi, Rauf Aregbesola, Doni melaye among others in Nigeria capital Abuja.
The protest tagged ‘Save Nigeria Democracy’ was taken to the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC headquarters in Abuja, with inscriptions such as ‘Tinubu let Democracy Breathe’, ‘Tinubu why are you afraid?’ among others
The ongoing alignment meeting is taking place at the residence of David Mark and is being attended by prominent political stakeholders, including the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, as well as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, alongside other critical leaders.
The ongoing engagement reflects intensifying consultations among opposition figures and may signal emerging political alignments ahead of key national developments.
