The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Ademola Adeleke of Accord Party winner of the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
Adeleke defeated the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Najeem Salaam, after results from all 30 local government areas were announced.
According to the results declared by INEC:
- AC – Ademola Adeleke: 511,067 votes
- APC – Bola Oyebamiji: 444,815 votes
- ADC – Najeem Salaam: 17,180 votes
The election was marked by intense campaigns, political realignments and a closely fought contest among the major candidates.
Adeleke’s victory secures his continued stay in office as Governor of Osun State for another term.
