AFCON: Continue to criticise me, I’m used to it, Onana tells critics

Onana is a Cameroonian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Premier league club Manchester United and Cameroonian National team.

The 27years old international has proven himself in Europe as a talented stopper who isn’t shy to have the the ball at his feey.

The goalkeeper has responded to criticism of his decisions to miss Cameroon’s opening African Cup Of Nations AFCON).

“I have a lot to say it here because we are in competition. The most important thing is scared union. We are here to win. I ask the supporters to support us in good times and bad.

“I’m one of the leader so I take responsibilities and that’s why I’m here. I don’t want people to criticise the youngest. Let people continue to criticise me, I’m used to it, I do what is good for my Country.

“It is like choosing between my Father and my Mother, but my Country comes first, that’s why I:m here to represent my Country, my Continent.

“It is a huge honour or me to be here with my Country. 40-yea rs ago, our elders did something exceptional here. Coming to represent this beautiful Country is the most important thing.
