The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, has ordered all Air Component Commanders across the country to intensify air strikes against insurgents, terrorists and other criminal elements.
The directive was given during a high-level strategic session with Theatre Commanders in Abuja, where the Air Chief emphasized the need for smarter, harder and intelligence-driven operations to ensure a decisive victory over insecurity across Nigeria.
According to a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Air Marshal Aneke charged commanders to sustain the tempo of air operations with greater agility, accuracy, and professionalism.
He noted that every mission must be executed with a clear sense of purpose and patriotism, reflecting the Nigerian Air Force’s renewed focus on intelligence-led dominance and operational precision.
Reaffirming his commitment to personnel welfare, training, and professional development, the Air Chief pledged continued investment in innovation, cutting-edge technology and advanced operational capabilities to enhance mission effectiveness.
Air Marshal Aneke also restated the Nigerian Air Force’s continuous support for the Federal Government’s efforts to achieve lasting peace and security across the country.
