The Special Adviser to Imo State Governor on lands recovery, Hon Paschal Nwakanma is sacked from office for his alleged involvements in fraud related matters within the few months he was appointed into the shared prosperity administration.

This investigative report came from 9News Nigeria following the allegations on Paschal Nwakanma as reported by many quarters in the state.

Recall that this is perhaps not the best of times for the Special Adviser to the governor of Imo State on Land Recovery, Chief Paschal Nwakamma, as it appears he sitting on a hot seat following all manner of petitions against him, alleging sundry corrupt practices.

However, a News report Thursday 29th february 2024 unveiled the quest of Imo indigenes demanding Governor Hope Uzodinma adviser’s sacking over alleged N1m fraud.

Some of the allegations against him include: use of unauthorized extra police men in the discharge of his duties, as against the number of officers officially assigned to him by the government; and alleged collection of N1 million bribe from a member of Imo Hoteliers Association which later took him to police for questioning.

The embattled special adviser, Paschal has refuted the allegations against his person on Wednesday as reported on Imo tabloids but regrettedly the hammer finally fell on him this way.

There was also a petition against the same SA on Land Recovery by a certain community, accusing him of compelling traders in the community plaza to vacate their shops, while the subject matter was pending before the High Court in Owerri.

Alot heat came upon the young SA by the measure of speed he applied in the job as if the work was a faceless one and such conduct was bringing odd names to the Shared Prosperity administration.

He also engaged in serious gossips against some government officials to make way for himself before the sight of the Governor and all these added to his failure to the ethics of the work led to his immediate sack by the Governor.

Meanwhile, calls put across the embattled special adviser on land recovery did not go through at the point of filling this report by 9News Nigeria. His phones were switched off and totally out of network coverage.

The development is indeed so sad to start the New month with a sack letter from a government having studied and investigated his shady involvements in his official assignment.

We will keep bringing to our readers the latest development concerning the sack notice and further actions of government on the allegations on government official.
