DR. GODWIN MADUKA AND THE MAXIM VOX POPULI VOX DEI (The voice of the people is the voice of God)
By Dr. Emezie Madu
Waoo!!! Doctor Godwin Maduka has arrived. That is by the way.
Anambra State is indeed, the light of the Nation and the aborigines are outstanding in whatever they get involved in.
For example, students from Anambra have taken the lead in every national and international competition involving other States. The people are the most industrious in Nigeria and their ingenuity in Commerce, Academics etc is not in doubt.
Anambra State also parades an array of political heavy weights. If you could win a Councillorship election in the State then you are sure of winning Governorship bid in majority of the States in Nigeria.
2021 Governorship election in Anambra State has attracted so much comments like never before. The reason is not far fetched.
The election parades an array of political heavy weights, billionaires and sound minds. It’s definitely going to be the toughest.
Be that as it may, the environment is electrifying and some people like the rough and tumble of politics in the State but Doctor Godwin Maduka, the Lion of Africa, Okosisi Orumba, a triple Professor from Harvard University is not blinking.
The Lion of Africa is a Governorship Aspirant and without sounding immodest, he is about the most eligible Governorship aspirant.
Unarguably, his antecedents speak in the affirmative and the political equation of the State powered by rotational policy favours him as well.
Dr. Godwin Maduka is from Umuchukwu, in Orumba South local Government Area of Anambra State and it’s the turn of Anambra South to produce the next Governor.
In Anambra South, Orumba South and North remain the most marginalized politically because they are yet to produce a Governor.
Dr. Godwin Maduka is the only heavy weight and most acceptable Governorship aspirant from the zone and even without the rotational policy he has all it takes to navigate the mucky water and muck – raking dispositions to be the next Governor of Anambra state.
For a long time Ndi Anambra have asked him to contest and what surprises political pundits is that what comes out of the mouth of every eligible voter in the State is ” we will support Doctor Godwin Maduka. He is a good man. He single handedly developed his community Umuchukwu, therefore he will develop Anambra State. Let’s give him a chance”
Just a few days ago Okosisi Orumba returned from the States after a few months he travelled out of the country. He has not arrived Anambra State but the emotions are palpable. The landscape claps… hails and heralds in affirmation of his arrival.
Even as unseen forces are already heralding his arrival, his political opponents adore him both covertly and overtly although the mention of his name sends shivers into their spines because they know he has been ordained by God at this peculiar time to become the Governor of Anambra state.
His name “God win” (s) is also a good attestation to the will of God in his life.
I can assure you that with the arrival of Dr. Godwin Maduka, the political history of Anambra state will be changed for ever.
I urge you to be a part of this epoch. The making of a new Anambra where equity and progress will embrace each other.
