Dr. Umobong, a medical doctor by profession, was recently elevated from the Directorate Cadre to her current prestigious role, marking a significant milestone for the Annang people at the federal level.

The visit, which was highly welcomed by Dr. Umobong, saw the delegation come together to celebrate her elevation and show their solidarity.

The meeting began with an opening remark by Pastor Okokon Etoabasi, who highlighted the significance of Dr. Umobong’s new position.

During the meeting, President Imoh Simeon outlined the purpose of the visit, which was to congratulate Dr. Umobong on her achievement and express the community’s gratitude for her leadership. Adede Imoh used the opportunity to also share the history of the Annang Community in the FCT, acknowledging the roles played by early founders, including Chief Friday Udonah and Arc. Dr. Ekpo Nathan.
