APC Chairman Okpe Takes Delivery of Owerri West Campaign Bus

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State, Hon. Chikadibia Okpe, has taken delivery of a campaign bus deployed to the LGA as part of the party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections.

The development follows the ongoing distribution of campaign buses across the state by the Imo State Governor and leader of the APC, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, CON, to strengthen the party’s grassroots mobilisation and campaign operations ahead of the elections.

Presenting the bus to the LGA party chairman, the Owerri West Local Government Council Chairman, Chief Victor Osuigwe (Ikeoha), expressed appreciation to Governor Uzodinma for the gesture and pledged the council’s support for the APC’s campaign efforts.

Ikeoha said the political leadership in the area would work collectively with the party to strengthen its structures and mobilise support for the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.

Taking delivery of the bus, Okpe pledged to lead an inclusive grassroots campaign aimed at securing victory for all APC candidates, from the presidency to the Senate, House of Representatives, governorship and State House of Assembly.

The APC chairman also thanked political leaders across Owerri West, including Hon. Evangelist Treasure Ahanonu, as well as party executives, ward leaders and members across the ten wards for their support and commitment to the party.

Okpe charged ward chairmen and booth leaders to intensify grassroots mobilisation and ensure that the party’s structures remain active ahead of the campaigns and elections.

He declared that Owerri West remained firmly committed to the APC, expressing confidence that the LGA would deliver a strong electoral performance in line with the direction of the governor and the party leadership.

The party chairman, particularly appealing to residents of Nekede, his home ward, urged party supporters and residents to come out en masse to demonstrate their support for the APC, which he described as the winning party in Nigeria.

He added that the campaign bus would strengthen the party’s mobility and facilitate the execution of political assignments, grassroots mobilisation and other campaign activities across Owerri West.
