Uzodinma Unveils Campaign Buses, Targets 100% APC Victory in Imo

Imo State Governor and leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Senator Hope Uzodinma, has moved to strengthen the party’s grassroots mobilisation with the distribution of brand-new campaign buses to APC chairmen across the 27 local government areas of the state.

The governor also presented buses to the APC State Women Leader and State Youth Leader, describing the initiative as part of efforts to improve grassroots engagement, mobilisation and coordination across the state.

The distribution brought together senior APC leaders and stakeholders, including the party’s National Financial Secretary, the APC South-East Vice Chairman, Imo State Chairman Chief Austin Onyedebelu, members of the Imo State Working Committee and APC chairmen from across the South-East as 9News Nigeria Owerri reports.

Addressing the gathering, Uzodinma urged party leaders and members to maintain unity and remain focused on strengthening the APC at the grassroots, stressing that the party’s electoral prospects depended largely on the cohesion and effectiveness of its structures.

The governor declared that the APC was targeting a decisive electoral performance in Imo, saying, “We are going for 100% in Imo State because Imo is APC.”

He added that the buses were provided to support local government party chairmen in carrying out their responsibilities and to reinforce the party’s presence across the state.

Uzodinma further invoked the principle of party supremacy, urging members to place the collective interest of the APC above individual considerations as the party prepares for future electoral contests.

The governor’s latest mobilisation drive comes against the backdrop of renewed efforts by the Imo APC leadership to consolidate its grassroots structures and maintain the party’s dominance across the state.

With dedicated vehicles now deployed to the party’s local government structures, women and youth wings, the initiative is expected to give the APC a more coordinated operational presence as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
