Grasssroots politician and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mohammed Yarima Al-Basheer has survived an asassination attempt by yet to be identified gunmen.
9News Nigeria gathered that the incident occurred on Sunday night along Laminga, Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
Al-Basheer was said to be in his Toyota Fortuner when he was accosted and shot severally by suspected gunmen.
However, the APC Chieftain came out unscathed and sustained no injury from the bullets fired by the suspected gunmen.
