The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed its scheduled National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings.
The event, originally fixed for December 15 -16, 2025, have now been shifted to December 18 (Caucus) and December 19 (NEC), according to a notice issued by the party’s National Secretary, Surajudeen Basiru.
Both meetings are still slated to take place at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The National Caucus which brings together high-ranking figures including past and present national office holders, governors, and zonal leadership and zonal leadership and the NEC, the party’s highest-decision body, will likely tackle critical internal matters, including strategy ahead of upcoming elections.
While the party did not state an official reason for the rescheduling, the change comes just four days after the initial dates were announced.
Political watchers may interpret the shift as signaling behind-the-scenes re-alignment or the need for additional consultation ahead of major decisions.
