The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has postponed indefinitely, the meeting of its National Executive Committee, NEC, earlier slated for September 12.
Accordingly, the party has also postponed the meeting of its National Caucus which often holds on the eve of the NEC meeting.
The APC in a brief statement issued on Monday night in Abuja did not give reasons for the postponement, but such high-level meetings are always subject to final approval by the President.
The party notes that new dates will be communicated accordingly.
