Bauchi governor commissions project in Adamawa State

Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir of Bauchi State has commissioned a project in Adamawa State and showers commendation on Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on the project.

The project, a 7.8km township roads in Michika local government area of Adamawa was commissioned on Thursday alongside the state’s governor, Fintiri, who hosted Bauchi governor.

Muhammad B. Tukur, aid on new media to Governor Fintiri said in a release that the township roads include Mukaddas, Lassa, Fulu, Low cost roads as well as Hospital road extension.

While commending Governor Fintiri for the project, Governor Mohammed said Fintiri has also done well in the execution of other projects in the state.

In his remarks, the host said the projects commissioned are part of the package for his administration’s Urban renewal campaign in the state.

Also during the occasion, Governor Fintiri flagged off a poverty alleviation programme which targets a total of 1,320 vulnerable rural women in Madagali local government area of Adamawa.

Alh. Adamu Atiku Abubakar, Adamawa commissioner of Works and Energy, said the road projects will open up businesses in the area as it will ease movement of people, goods and services.
