The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Chairman and former Senate President Dr. Adolphus Wabara, have visited Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State.
They were hosted by the governor at the state government house, Bauchi on Wednesday.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss the party’s ongoing challenges and to acknowledge Governor Bala’s vital role in restoring stability and unity within the PDP.
During the meeting, Dr. Wabara expressed concerns about the current state of the party, particularly the issues within the National Working Committee (NWC) and the crisis in Rivers State.
Wabara however, praised Governor Mohammed for his developmental initiatives and highlighted him as a key figure in unifying the party.
He added that as the chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, the governor is playing a crucial role in fostering reconciliation and ensuring sustainable growth.
Responding, Governor Mohammed reaffirmed his strong commitment to the success and unity of the party.
He also commended both the BoT and the NWC for their efforts in addressing the Party’s difficulties and assured the BoT of his continued dedication to the goals of the PDP Governors’ Forum.
He expressed gratitude for their visit and reiterated his unwavering support for the leadership in resolving internal disputes to promote unity within the party.
