Following the pressure from the other regions of the country to give the Igbo speaking community the 2023 presidential ticket, Stakeholders in Igbo land insisted that the actualisation of Biafra is a reality.
In a seminar that ended up successful in Anambra a few hours ago, an Igbo group under the aegis of Ndigbo forum has maintained their readiness to take over power come the year 2023.
This can be further expressed by the tone of governance in the land.
Information revealed to the press was that all pressure groups will surely unite to pave way for the realization of Biafra.
But the confusion has been, of what benefit and good use will Biafra be to the generality of Nigeria and Africa en- large?
Which among the Igbo speaking states takes the lead in this tussle for sovereignty?
Investigation revealed that Anambra brags of the true heritage while Imo and Abia had maintained that the history of Igbo started from their areas.
The problem according to information is that the geographical Biafran land include Imo, Anambra, Enugu, Abia, Ebonyi, Rivers, Delta, Benin and few others but there is no united front from the leaders of these states to achieve this goal.
Anyway, we know BIM, MASSOB, IPOB as the trio activists of Biafra but which among these groups takes order from the other?
In the presidential bid, we have also found out the ambition of Senator Okorocha, Rotimi Amaechi, Emeka Nwajiuba, Abaribe, Ike Ekweremadu, Orji Uzor Kalu and so on whose interest is to contest for the 2023 presidential bid.
Meanwhile, This few minutes video is Chief Ben Atuchukwu’s House in Amichi, Nnewi South Local Council, Anambra State.
It is the Peace and Reconciliation House where the Nigerian Civil war technically ended, and, where the Biafra instrument of surrender was delivered to Olusegun Obasanjo by Philip Effiong, who stood in for Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu who had fled to Ivory Coast shortly after Owerri, the last Biafran stronghold, fell.
This historic event took place on January 13 1970. You can see the Plaque reflecting that momentous historic event. Obasanjo travelled to Amichi to unveil the Plaque on January 13 2006.
Chief Ben Atuchukwu, now known as Nigerian Civil War mediator, died in 2009 aged 92.
Can the Igbos be given the presidential position in Nigeria???? Comments.
