Nigerian Man, Idris Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky might actually be on his way to prison after being arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC over Naira abuse.
According to reports, Bobrisky was picked at from his Lagos home on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 over alleged currency mutilation and ab¥se of the Naira.
If Bobrisky doesn’t have a good lawyer, he might actually end up in prison like Nigerian actress, Oluwadarasimi Omoseyin who was jailed six months in February 2024 for spraying, stepping on Naira notes.
The actress was sentenced and convicted by Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
She, however, given an option of N300,000 fine to be paid into the consolidated revenue account of the federation.
It’s pertinent to note that she is now an ex convict no matter how you look at it.
While this is unfolding case, Bobrisky may have his days in court and will probably need a good lawyer to avoid being an ex convict which might be good for his brand.
