The Desert Foxes of Algeria have won the 2019 Total African Cup of Nations for the second time ever with a 1-0 win over Senegal in Cairo, Egypt.
Baghdad Bounedjah scored the only goal in the match after just 3 mins with a wicked deflection off Senegal defender, Salif Sane that left the keeper looking helplessly.
Although Senegal took the game to their North African opponent with more possession and more chances at goal, Algeria were resolute in defence and protected their slim lead till the final whistle.
Algeria have now ended their 29 years drought with this memorable victory that will stay long in the memories of football fans for a long time.
