… The People Endorsed Sen. Kalu bcos he brought development down to grassroot.

… Urges the people to ignore the divisive statement by disgruntled elements parading as ‘Ohafia Stakeholders’.

The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL), the apex sociopolitical youth group in the South East geopolitical zone is proud to announce that the good people of Abia North have unequivocally endorsed Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for a third term in the upcoming 2027 elections. This endorsement is a resounding acknowledgment of the remarkable progress and development that Senator Kalu’s representation has brought to our communities.

In a statement issued on Tuesday and sent 9NEWS NIGERIA, the group said Senator Kalu’s tenure has been marked by transformative achievements that have significantly improved the lives of constituents across the Abia North Senatorial zone.

Senator Kalu And Tinubu

According to the statement signed by Comrade Goodluck Ibem, President General and Comrade Okey Nwaoru, Publicity Secretary noted that through unwavering dedication and commitment to service, Senator Kalu has demonstrated an extraordinary ability to address the needs and aspirations of the people, fostering an environment conducive to growth and development.

The statement reads,

Sad: Man dies attempting to retrieve phone from abandoned well
42 Abducted Oyo Pupils, Teachers Rescued In Major Security Operation
Right To Life In Nigeria II: The Kidnapping of Hope in Oyo and Borno
Democracy Day: Tinubu to Address National Assembly, FG Announces Line-Up of Events

“We are compelled to respond to the recent communique issued by a group that identifies itself as “Ohafia Stakeholders.” It is essential to clarify that this group does not speak for the collective voice of the people of Ohafia, who have overwhelmingly expressed their support for Senator Kalu’s continued leadership. Their self-serving interests do not reflect the sentiments of our communities, and we urge the public to disregard their misguided statements.”

“COSEYL firmly condemns any form of divisive politics that seeks to undermine the progress we’ve achieved under Senator Kalu’s guidance. With a portfolio of accomplishments that surpass expectations, Senator Kalu stands as a beacon of hope and a testament to effective leadership. We believe that his experience and vision make him the best choice for the people of Abia North in 2027.”

“It is on record that Senator Uche Chukwumerije a son of Umunneochi who represented Abia North at the Senate served from 2003 to 2025 which is 12 years. Now the good people of Abia North wants Senator Kalu to served them for a third term because of his dynamic and transformational performance. One good term the say deserves another, as the saying goes.”

“Currently, a son of Ohafia is the Deputy Governor of Abia State by name Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu and the member representing Ohafia/Arochukwu Federal Constituency Hon. Chief Ibe Okwara is also an Ohafia son. The people of Ohafia are good people and not selfish in any way which is why the gave their full support to Senator Kalu.”

“We State unequivocally that the Communique by the so-called Ohafia Stakeholders does not anyway represent the position of the good people of Ohafia and should be discarded to the dustbin to were it belongs.”

“As a united coalition, we stand solidly behind Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and call on all stakeholders, political actors, and citizens to rally in support of his candidacy. Together, we can ensure that the progress and development we have experienced continue to flourish under his leadership.”
