Benin city(9News Nigeria) – Report reaching 9News Nigeria from our Edo state correspondent has confirmed that a court order has been issued stopping any form of electoral activities by the All Progressive Congress (APC) party in Edo state.
This order has come amid protracted political tension between the APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole and the Edo state incumbent governor, Godwin Obasieki who have been rivalling around the upcoming Edo state governorship election.

A Federal High Court in Benin City, Edo state on Monday granted an order restraining the All Progressives Congress and its national chairman from conducting any primary election in Edo State ahead of the state governorship election in September, pending the determination of the suit on June 11, 2020.
