BREAKING: COVID-19 cases rises to almost 40,000 in Nigeria

Nigeria is just a little figures before hitting the 40,000- mark of COVID-19 cases.
In the latest information disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Twitter, confirmed cases of the virus in the country are now 39977.

438 new cases were recorded just on Saturday and Lagos remains the epicentre of the pandemic.

The new cases of COVID- 19 across the country spread thus:

Out of the 39977 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria, 16,948 patients have been discharged while 856 persons have died.
