Immediate past Senate President is set to pick his presidential interest and nomination forms ahead of the 2019 general elections.
IDOMA VOICE gathered that the acclaimed Okpokpowulu K’Idoma would pick the forms on Tuesday to contest fro president on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
IDOMA VOICE reports that Mark, a former military governor of Niger State LP had earlier dumped his presidential ambition to contest the Benue South Senatorial seat for the sixth time.
However, sources said Mark, after a marathon meeting with some of his close pals, including Tunde Ogbeha in his Abuja residence decided to throw in the ring.
The source said, “As we speak, he (Mark) is warming up to run for the office of the president. He would be picking his nomination forms on Tuesday.
“He is still reluctant but the intervention of his long-time friend, Tunde Ogbeha gave his the courage to join the race,” the source said.
Confirming the development to DAILY POST on Monday, James Oche, national coordinator of Doo2Door for David Mark, said his principal, after a nationwide consultation has decided to join the presidential race to salvage the entity called Nigeria from a total collapse.
“Yes, the last man standing has arrived. He would be picking his forms on Tuesday. It is time to save Nigeria from collapse,” Oche told our reporter on Monday.
